NAMI’s support groups are unique because they follow a structured model, ensuring everyone has an opportunity to be heard and to get what they need.

  • Free of cost to participants

  • Family Support Group is designed for adults 18+ with loved ones who live with mental health conditions 

  • Connection Peer Support Group is designed for adults 18+ living with mental health conditions

  • Support Groups are led by peers that have lived experience

  • 90 minutes long 

  • No specific medical therapy or treatment is endorsed

Recuperative Care

Recuperative care, also known as medical respite care, provides short-term residential care for individuals experiencing homelessness who are recovering from illness or injury but do not require hospitalization.

This type of care offers a safe environment where individuals can heal while accessing medical oversight and support services. ​
